ut 469 fucks up aim.. chicken edition way better

and .. lower your sens.

In what way does v469 make your aim worse? I mean how can this be and/or how do you determine this?

i mostly use buttons Q and E to turn Left & Right
this is how you can be efficient with extremely low sensitivity

higher dpi the mouse is gonna swing around that's why his is set so low. 800 dpi and I have to turn sensitivity down to 0.37.

I play with 1600dpi, raw input, 1.0 UT Sens, with x and y axis(user.ini) set to 1.0(from 6.0), try and do a 180 😆

all I can say is I really feel a difference.
I think it could be the change of d3d driver.
when I tried my d3d driver i'm used to with new 469, it just crashed. so i never tried again.

go back to windas 10 it solved all my problems.

What issues were you having on windows 11? I've had no problems other than windows 11 feeling like a downgrade...

Oh sorry forgot to get back to this but actually I really like Windows 11 it is definitely nicer than 10. My problems were the mouse intermittently spinning out so I ended up looking at the floor or ceiling or sometimes instead the mouse would respond like turning something that partially stripped out its hard to explain. Never both at the same time LOL. I don't mind improvising but this was a bit much. I also could not get UT2004 to run after installing some unsolvable imaginary audio error and basically the same story for UT4. It is always possible I had some corrupt files from original install or update but I had this problem after many clean installs.

Make sure you are using raw input, not direct input or cursor, and turn off mouse acceleration. You can go one step further and a disable enhanced pointer precision in windows control panel(don't think it's even necessary with raw input), and disable any dpi scaling(or whatever it's called, the one like 125% 150%).

I was also recommended to disable full-screen optimisations.
