This thread will be used to announce changes that are made to any of the EatSleepUT (ESU) game servers.

Today, I received a new version of Frag New Net (FNN) from asosed. The new version is FNN v165 and the ESU ComboGib CTF London 2, CTF Atlanta, and DM New York servers are all still using FNN v149.

I will spend the next day or so, as time permits, testing and updating the ESU ComboGib servers to use this new FNN version.

Thanks to asosed and ProAsm for continuing these FNN updates and also to all others involved with FNNs development including those who developed the earlier NewNet versions 👍️

Just an update on the FNN 165 upgrade progress. I haven't had as much UT time the last couple of days as I would like so it's going a little slow but I have completed testing the update and everything seems to be working as expected. I will hopefully get this installed on the above mentioned servers tonight or first thing tomorrow.

Edit: An issue was detected after adding to the Atlanta server. I will write up a report and wait for a fix. So there will be some delay in the update and if anyone actually played on atlanta I would probably revert to the older version 🙂
