Just a thought I've been having.
Perhaps it's just me, but I would very much prefer that my team members just cover me from enemy fire, rather than trying to boost me closer to our own flag. Boosting almost never goes well, particularly in maps with lots of corners. Also, if I'm running back home with the flag, and someone boosts me, 99% of the time, I can't see it coming and can't really adjust for it.
Of course I have seen, and be a party to, multiple glorious boosts where you just get back to the flag instantly because it was perfect. And I think there are still certain maps where that can happen, but on the whole, if someone is shooting me randomly while I'm just trying to dodge my way back, it almost always fucks me up.
