It's funny, I installed this and, because I'm playing on a Mac, I followed their advice to update the GameRenderEngine to Frucore.FrucoreRenderDevice and it ended up looking like COMPLETE shit, and I have an upgraded M3 Macbook Pro so that's really shocking. OpenGL it is, I guess! I was so disappointed and was hoping for a major graphics boost!

OpenGL is generally the best looking colour wise.

Ooper Maybe I'll try to get a screen recording but it was just all grainy and dark, the textures all seemed off, and the game just performed worse. Again, with my Mac, you'd think I could have everything wide open and it'd be fine but it was not good at all.

I downloaded and installed the patch. So far it has been working flawlessly. I need to spend more time with it and report my findings.

How do I install this its not executable file?

Once you download it to your comp, just unzip your pants and move everything to where you keep that stuff, replacing everything. Beforehand, make a copy of the entire UnrealTournament folder.

There is a bug with the installer not liking spaces and other stuff so it was removed for now.

You want the OldUnreal-UTPatch469e-Windows.zip package instead.

Place the contents of the zip file in your Unreal Tournament main folder(you should see the, Maps, Textures, Sounds, System,... folders)
