14 years of playing on grapple servers to only notice this today. You do need to be somewhat good/lucky with timing and have a participating enemy(campers are ideal to try this). This does not work on team mates.
- When you shoot grapple hold a walk key.
- Hit an enemy with the grapple projectile while you are in the air.
- Keep holding walk.
- You can now stay in the air anywhere and shoot people without falling.
- To drop simply release your walk key.
If a teammate boosts you, you will also fall.
