Tweak changing to the winning team

Hi,

This guy "Tweak", after I capped, immediately went to spec, waited for someone to type "!t" and once I've been moved to the loosing team, then he typed "!p" to get back into the game on the winning team...

He did it on purpose, as his actions were immediately after the events, and he even "bragged" about it on chat...

monkeydots Skynet. Or should we start talking about your constant in-game whining every time you're losing and how you only start spamming !teams when your team is behind?

I often end up playing with Skynet, and I can say that he only uses !teams when the teams are really unbalanced, and mostly when he is the one winning. Sometimes, even when he is winning by really a lot, he will go to spectators to make the teams more even and let the weaker players play against each other, since the balancer doesn’t do its job at all sometimes.

As for the main topic, player Sportpid (aka madmax) always does things like this too. As soon as he starts losing, he goes to spectators and later joins the leading team. Things like this and spawnkilling are what we really should be dealing with. There have been a lot of good suggestions on the forum about these issues.

As for good players like everyone who posted above, I think it’s better to keep things friendly.
Btw, I have nothing against bunny hoping as well. I wish I knew how to do this 🙂

Is her team down by a cap or down a player, type !teams
Is her team up by a cap, while having a a player advantage? Surprisingly won't type !teams in this scenario

If she doesn't get her way she'll either quit the game (best case), or sit in spec until someone joins to unfairly stack teams on a winning side. Every time you bring this up it's fall on deaf ears. The !teams spamming needs a 3 minute cooldown, minimum, or completely block her from spamming it. You're really hurting the player base for letting this type of behavior to keep happening on the server.

Hi,
This guy "Ann0ying", after grabbing the flag, immediately bunnyhopped and capped the flag in 3s and after our players respawned we were unable to go after him because of his speed.

He did it on purpose, then hid in his base and camped in the most hidden back-shooting place back-shooting players and afterwards said hopping isn't illegal and refused to accept any criticism coming his way that he's ruining the game for others.

Hopping / bouncing is not illegal in the server.
Camping / Back shooting is not illegal in the server.

I'm telling you in good faith as always: it's an act of courtesy not to bunnyhop when your team is winning. Being nice and fair doesn't go against the rules either.

I'm telling you this as someone who likes to bunnyhop. 🤟

Ann0ying Annoying you said yourself that hopping is good when you are playing a player like "have a cigar". the problem with that is the team balancer has already balanced the teams and I assume does not take in consideration the glitch that you use. I remember a game that was 40 minutes in on fragwhore and fair you came in and hopped the flag and ruined a good fair game... very discouraging. I know it is not against the rules so have at it. I appreciate atezris for not using hopping for a very obvious reason, because it skews the balancer. He realizes it and I think that you do also.

this is not about bouncing (that was only skynet crying), this is about a player breaking the server rules by abusing the balancer.

The problem with switchers is that, besides being pretty annoying, the teambalancer tends to leave the losing team specifically one man down.

Server rules this or that, they're being broken on a daily basis by other players and not much is being done unless someone cheats using a bot. It's all about enjoying a game whilst not ruining it for others. I know that's a concept you have a hard time to comprehend, as you've shown numerous times in the past while being confronted by other players.

If he is bunny hopping non stop he doing you a favor making himself easy to time. I don't get why a team in the lead shouldn't hop. The balancer issue that is mostly chavez, o, gonzalez whatever retard name he might be playing under at the time. I'm usually against banning people but put me on whatever list you commies make for banning this guy.

Maybe you prefer the countless spawnkillers who take advantage of being stacked on the stronger team? If what Ann0ying is doing isn't against the rules, then you'll just have to adapt to the game instead of complaining - and finally get better at it.

You're absolutely in the right about staying on topic and like I said, I find it very amusing that of all the people here, Ann0ying is complaining about something so trivial and something that, I only presume, happened once.

In more cases I call for !teams when my team has an advantage and I'm trying to balance it out, because I don't like unbalanced games -be it in my or in somebody else's favor. I'm sure there's plenty of players that can back me on this. And I'm not gonna respond to other accusations, get your facts straight or stop spreading fake news 😃

You must have been playing with a different Skynet then. All I ever see from the guy is foul language whenever better players are around, and he can barely do anything, which is understandable - he's simply not as skilled. But insulting people just because you're not good enough is pretty lame.

I'll have to start recording my games because I'm pretty sure he hardly did any of the things you mentioned. Pirog, I think you're just being nice. Skynet is just as bad - he spawnkills whenever he gets the chance, and both he and Jayce regularly stack teams so they end up with the stronger players and simply try to abuse the teams.

As for bouncing, it's not difficult, Pirog. Most people who do it are just using a certain mouse.

To summarise:

Intentionally unbalancing teams or specing to join the winning team is both lame and against the rules. The person Ann0ying raised should be investigated.

I so totally agree Peter but has anyone taken the trouble to open the link of the map in Annoyings post and look at the stats? I'm guessing its the map in question?

What i see, so correct me if i'm wrong, Annonyings name is on the winning team? Tweaks name on the losers team right?
The caps made on the losers list, just call it that for now, is not Annoyings cap? The 2 caps are made by Pacman and Dot, one of the two must have been switched at some point because 1 cap is on the winning side.
6 caps on the winning side and 2 on the losers side. Endresult 7-1!

Logically speaking, Annoying must have joined the winning team rather than Tweak, considering the amount of time this player spent on the server its unlikely he was switched twice? Tweak 2.55-Annoying 14.20! 🙅‍♀️

Works even without infinite scroll, just gotta time the landing if you've got a regular wheel, like I do. (Logitech G Pro) Or even better, just time the single jump key press, but that's so hard to do.

Yes I have jump bound to my regular scroll wheel because it's useful for BT. I frequently accidently bounce when boosted because of it

It's not that hard to single tap bounce off jumpads or a boost alot of people do it without knowing every day. All the time people cry it's a hack a script but it really just timing. If you jump just right and someone boosts you all the way across the map it's from the bounce mechanics.
