Remove this post if its not allowed, i just figured this could help some people with their experience and trouble seeing player skins in combogib. I've used this in all servers, public and at Unreal Heaven and Gibblets, deck 16s and combogib.

A couple things to address here: Since the game can be freely downloaded legally now, I'm not concerned with you sharing your install but there may be other IDs hidden in a game install that may get you or others banned if a cheater picks up your install and starts cheating with it. Just a fair warning.

For anyone that needs to install the game fresh this is the best way to do it:

Rather than share your install it would probably be better to just provide the tweak file or other settings that you used to make your game display the way it does. Not saying you need to remove the download as long as you and others accept the warning given above.

Does anyone have a link to the UT Tweaks 2.0 by rX so we can look at what commands are actually used? It is best to use the tweaks on your own install or even only use the tweaks from the file that you specifically want/need for yourself.

I don't mind most tweaks and the latest ACE will allow explicitly blocking particular tweaks that won't/shouldn't be allowed so this should be addressed better in the future. For now, I allow most tweaks if they don't give an outrageously unfair advantage. Other servers/administrators may have a different viewpoint so be careful elsewhere. On second thought, I went ahead and removed your full game download link. We have a persistent cheater that lurks here and would almost certainly use it to get you, and anyone else who tries your install, banned. He or she has been quiet for a couple weeks but they are still around.

Let's just talk about what tweaks you have applied themselves so others can maybe improve their own install.

Yes, ill remove it, i will upload the tweak by rX to make brighter models It was given to me by someone from the ace team.

I know Passionate gaming is against tweaks, but for the general population it comes in handy. On ig+ servers, brighter skins is integrated so it wasnt really needed, but for servers without it with shadows on playermodels, it can be tricky to see for us old gamer eyes xD

Install : Put both files into your System folder, check your mod menu you should see UT Tweaks,
Uninstall : Simply delete the two files.

This vastly improved my clarity on players in combogib/deck16 players. You can also customise beam colours, balls and shock combos into different fancy effects, if thats your thing 🙂
