He posted a link to 2 triggers bots that can by pass ace on most servers?
Maybe ooper is trying to tell us something?
Is it that far of a stretch of the imagination to think if there are trigger bots available for download , some players will use them?
Seems pretty logical to me.
If they by pass ACE how can you catch them if they are been used by a decent player who's not going to go full auto on them?
Let me get this straight. It's universally acceptable that SBT cheats and everyone can complain on him but players that out aim him and get top of the leader boards are not cheating.
How this works exactly, I'm confused.
BTW I wasn't the one complaining about Trade in game , it was actually FoxNox who called him out on the hacks and I had to agree with him.

Sorry with all respect I don't really care if a someone is a well known pug player.
Being a well know pug player doesn't stop you from cheating and using for 80 doesn't make you go God like against other top players that have been playing for 20+ years.

My intent wasn't to start an argument. If I took anything you wrote in the wrong way I apologize for that.

You're correct ACE is not infallible. I can't watch everyone all the time. I can only do my due diligence and check on players from time to time.

I hope you and others will not choose to try cheating. It's true good players could get away with it for some time but the risk of being caught and banned will always be there.

If you suspect someone of cheating and would like to help out please get a demo.

Yes good idea ban them all. In a way it's a good thing Ooper posted those links and others posting same bots in other forums because I'm sure ace coders find them easier that way.

The first thing I did when I made it was send it to Anthrax, that trigger bot is pretty poor, was more of a proof of concept than anything seeing if I could do it, good luck to anyone trying to use it especially if the textures on the map have any shade of red or blue depending on which team you toggled 😆 There was a reason in my youtube videos I picked woot and jumpfever, so it doesn't constantly shoot at nothing.

Sorry I wasn't arguing I just wish there is a way to catch cheaters effectively.
If they really are that good .....great I'm glad to loose to better players but if they hack then they suck.
BTW that RL players is got attitude problems . Wins the game 3-2 and what does he say at the end of the game ? " easy" then proceeds to say players on red team are useless haha

I wish he reads this forums. He's got less covers then me and only grabbed twice.
I couldn't grab at all or we would of lost 7 -0.

drunken_fool 300 frags on 900 shots don't look that suspicious, and most of the rest of the players are noobs. They can't even get 100 frags on open maps.

FFS It's 2023 there is literally no reason not to be running DemoRec every game it will not hurt your frame rate on a computer anyone is playing on today. Hell back in the olden times on p4 then a athalon x2 it had little to no effect on performance. No excuses not to have demo, get x console or a demo manager mod and set it to demorec everything even Spectator mode.

I agree about demorec every game. But the best anti-cheat is a human.
About Trade, a very suspicious player but I have no proof. This is not a SBT that even a blind man can see ...

I have a question. Only my demorec does not always turn on automatically? Is this a bug ?
You have to turn it on yourself or reconnect

Nicefu Personally I use xconsole its does it all automatically one click to turn it on and forget it or you can use most demo manager addons to achieve the same result. Maybe Cowboy is adding this to his console that may be a future option. I have to mention remember to delete or move the demos every couple of months or UT will take a while to load .

On ukserver a loth of the 'top' of the players played there , So you had a good 5vs5 with very good players sometimes, also trade played there and had good scores like always , and no one ever mentioned that he was cheating , thats all i know.

I wanna play SBT in the movie unless its a made for tv movie but then again if its a netflix or amazon tv series id be ok with that.

469 has demo manager included I think, you can enable it from the mod menu.

Demorec is "always" on. But sometimes it doesn't record when I tape "!p" or "!s". That's where the problem is
