Hi guys,
I've been relying on my Logitech G604 to play and to work. Unfortunately the G604 started to show some wear signs that I can no longer dismiss.

The rubber parts started to disintegrate
The scroll wheel no longer scrolls freely as it used to.

Since Logitech discontinued the 604 I'm looking for a new mouse. But I cannot find a proper replacement.

I need:

a lot of buttons (I do play Cabal on gap years but I want to avoid the 12 button setup on a mouse)
Free scroll (indispensable for work)
2 Wireless connections (like Bluetooth and lightspeed or any other also indispensable for work so I can switch from PC to laptop or tablet...)

I tried the Logitech 502 Lightspeed, despite having less buttons than the 604, but with only one wireless connection I had to sent it back..

I'm now looking to the Razer Naga V2 Pro, which has the interchangeable side panels and I can apply the same set-up as the Logitech 604, BUT this piece of tech costs around 180€ and If I'm to pay that kind of money for a mouse I need to be sure that there are no other alternatives.

Do you have any suggestion?

Considering how much you had to scroll the posts of Gonzalez and Schiz with the mouse, it is clear that the mouse will break 😉

ESUOH yeah, but I don't want to spend money on a mouse that will have the same issues... to be honest this 604 lasted me 3 years ..

I was hoping for something premium as that to last way more ..

i can't help with a mouse with a loth of buttons im not into that. I just buy a standard mouse. I also cant say logitech is broken fast or not , i never had probs with it , but a loth of buttons etc can break faster , offcourse. Maybe you always going to have that problem . I never used a mouse longer then 3years 🙂

I can't recommend which mouse to buy... Everyone has their own taste. But if you need an inexpensive one, then I can advise you to look in Aliexpress.

Just run down to Microcenter they have a whole aisle of them. I personally use a Swiftpoint Z 700 it was expensive but i didn't pay for it. No I didn't steal it someone else bought it and didn't like it, so its the best mouse I've ever had that I did not pay for worth every penny.

I ended up ordering the Razer naga V2 Pro..

I just hope that the materials are better quality than logitech used on the 604!

I just bought the same one after my logitech broke down 😊 it's a smaller mouse, fits better in my hand

I've always wondered why no built in USB and Keyboard. Extra wires coming out of your mouse is awesome.

I wonder if some kind of pedal-controller would serve better that mouse wheel for scrolling our bs, lol.

Also it doesn't seem that a default 3 rows scroll wheel Windows settings is suitable for scrolling long pages, scrolling such long pages can be achieved more easily by several other ways, than a default scrolling:

incerase your mouse scroll wheel range in Windows settings:
- Mouse Properties ==> Wheel ==> Vertical Scrolling ==> change from 3 default rows to a higher number of rows or set "Scroll by a screen"
- there is a mouse software which allows to set hotkeys to easy switch between your custom settings at demand
in some mouses software can press a whell scroll middle button, it will lock the cursor, and then just move mouse up / down
- if your mouse software lacks such functionality, there is a free software in internet to download
keyboard keys: arrow upward / arrow down, page up / page down, insert / end
- also can optionally use alternative keys on Numeric Keyboard which is more nearby mouse

I know your & Nicefu's mouse joke was just a sarcastic joke, but at the same time it was just stupid joke for some degree, and you call yourself advanced computer users, who don't know of many ways of scrolling long pages, and who rely on Windows default settings.
