Yes, there can be different settings that the brightness is different, starting from 3d rendering, through the depth of colors used, detail quality settings, texture filtering and ending with the monitor and graphics card. 🙂
As for the jump pads. If you heard this, then I'm not alone 🙂 . I thought something was wrong with my hearing.
But seriously, wait until the server is full and everyone will use them. I was halfway to second base (in a circle) and I heard them as if they were around me.
