can not subtract certain area's (semisolid)?

i was trying a little bit around in Duku and noticed i can not subtract a tunnel inside the center thing in the center of the map. i noticed the surface is semisolid and if i turn it of then rebuild the semisolid will just go back on.
i added red texture on the surface i can not subtract through.

Covid_A_Swab yeah you can't subtract from semisolids. you can try to select the semisolid brush, right click, Polygons -> To Brush. Then delete the semisolid and ADD the same brush back again, then you can subtract from it

There are quite a few of those hiding spots about, but 90% of them are useless apart from messing about, there is one on a map where you can aim at where the flag stand is(can't see it through because of a brush blocking your view) and if you time it right it looks like you are shooting through a wall, I think 🇲🇽 sus showed me.
