So far I have all the walls converted. Trying to find a nice program to convert DDS files to PNG now. Might just have to make all my own textures. This will not be the same map for sure, but I will try to make it close.

So far, all brushes are in and I started the texturing. Wow this guy had a ton of work in bringing this one to life.
I will not try to create exactly what he did it would take too much time. I mean I can if you really want me to. It was somewhat time consuming just converting the textures from DDS format. How ever here you 1st update.

Snowguy Can you add CTF-GreenHillZone map ? Very colorful map... I think everyone will like it 🙂

Okay haha, checked it out and I remember this one 🙂 Can't recall if I had it on the London server or it was on a different combo server. Either way I will add it soon. I remember it being fun to play but a few players were upset with its size. Shouldn't matter when there are 10+ players on the server. I don't think I ever played it with more than 6 players at the same time.

snowguy I also like small maps (yes yes i'm also crazy one who likes 18 players on joust 😁), but over time everything gets boring.

GreenHillZone i probably played 10 years ago by LG Rocket. Only good impressions about the map...

I love to map brother Soon I will learn how to port meshes. I know it can be done I have already started to read up on it.
What's nice is my RIG can handle having both editors and photoshop open at the same time. Plus, I have GIMP open to convert the textures. I am having a blast trust me. Bring the port list on lol

Is there some kinda issue with back porting official Epic made maps? Like Citadel which was the Face of ut2004 and Rankin for DM, I really cant recall ever seeing a official UT map back ported period for any version of ut.

I am not sure about the back port of official maps. I know this Lego map was made by a guy that goes by hOok. I do not see an email on his read me file so I can't ask him if he is ok with me doing this. How ever I am really close to being complete. I will post a teaser in a few hours, I made up a small video of it. It is turning out awesome if you ask me.
I really wish I could get ahold of hOok he did an amazing job on the texture work here.
Now I have been adding my own little changes to it as well. Not much just suttle ones to help the runner out. I have also added like 15 spawn spots per team so no one should kill anyone while spawning. I might just add a few more because everyone likes to remember them and spawn kill like crazy. This will give us a fighting chance on coming back to the fight.

If anyone knows this guy, please help me get in contact with him. I would really like to ask for permission to submit this one out. He has a lot of work on the original one and I think he deserves 90% of the credit even on this port.

I will post a teaser in a few hours like I said keep an eye out.

A few new maps added to the main London combo server yesterday and a couple removals 🤫

Small:
CTF-KWC-Brutal-W00t

Medium:
CTF-BoM-Opel-On-Steroids
CTF-BoM-SpaceLego2023

CTF-KWC-mini-Boxer][

Large:
CTF-GreenHillZone

The star of the show this time, in my opinion, is the BoM-SpaceLego2023 map. Thanks to X-Cell for porting it from ut2004, to h0ok for the original version, and to jerc for requesting the port. BoM-Opel-On-Steroids is also a nice change to the normal Opel - hoping we don't get 2x opel play now though 😉 thanks X-Cell for making it and drunken_fool for the request IIRC. Finally, thanks to Nicefu for requesting the GreenHillZone map it is pretty cool although I'm not sure everyone will agree 🙂

Haven't updated this thread in a while. Thought I would just mention the latest updates.

Thanks to all the mappers for spending the time to make the maps. Here are the additions and changes:

Dr. Pikko maps:
CTF-Bossen[R]
CTF-Lucky[R]

Mortis aka KillRoy map:
CTF-Plastered-BETA3

X-Cellerator map:
CTF-BoM-Warehouse-SkatePark

Sylvain "zOil" Derosne (summer edit by c@pp@s) map:

And finally spfix maps by a mystery mapper. The spfix means spawn fix. The mystery mapper has added extra spawn locations to various maps that were troublesome for combogib.
This time there are spfix versions for opel, crates2022, combo_king, nuclearSoup, and w00tabulousFixed.

Usually, the spfix maps seem to greatly improve the game play but some may prefer the original map especially so for the most popular map on the server w00tabulousFixed. I will give it some time for the majority to try the spfix version of w00tabulous and then we can discuss and/or have a poll about which you prefer. In the meantime, if you prefer the spawns on the original w00t there is still the w00tabulousFixed-2022 map which was designed to keep the original game play as much as possible.

i like duke summmer and bossen 🙂 haven't played the rest. I felt down a ffew times on woot , but its certainly better for the spawnkills .

It seems there are a couple issues with a few of the spfix maps. Except for nuclear soup and opel, I have put the other 3 back to their original versions for the time being.
