I installed it but it crashed. But if i check it , its says installed. So i can run it on vulkan , but in UT it says videoclassname renderer as videorenderer , not vulkan 🙂 But my fps is stable .

How did you select the video driver? Did you edit UnrealTournament.ini or did you use the change renderer button in the video options?

One problem I had with the Direct3d11 was it crashing as soon as I started UT, turns out I was being stupid and selected the wrong item in the select video driver after unticking show all devices/renderers I think the right one is D3D11 and not direct3d11 support as I had installed another d3d11 renderer(ICBIN11?) months ago that only worked with 469c at the latest, but the dev said he was going to compile a new version for the 469D release.

i did show all devices , and took vulkan. But it seems it works i guess , but when i do preferences in console , i can't change a thing , because it says fault 🙂 i use 469b

As far as i remember is that d11 always crashed here.

They won't work as well with outdated versions of the patch.

Are you using windows xp?

I've kept checking the ace file, looks like you beat me to it lol

Thought I would share a config I've been playing around with for the D3D11(Vulkan package)

Nothing special just a "clean looking" config with 4xMSAA for less jagged edges, paired with High Skin Detail, Low World Textures, Dynamic Lighting: Off, Decals: Off, Gore: Ultra Low.

This is also paired with the HD player skins I posted on this forum, the MSAA x4 improves aliasing on the player skins when they are at a distance.

Been using the ICB11(direct3d 11, the one Buggie posted above) with the hd player skins, and 2.0(200%) resolution scale(native 1920x1080), you get a much cleaner look then with MSAAx4, no noticeable fps drops on a GTX 1050ti(390fps netspeed 25000 fps lock).

    22 days later

these video drivers highly decrease my FPS and the lag between my mouse / screen is unplayable.
    I'm still using Direct3D9 😃

Maybe vsync is on? I think it was default on for some reason, that sounds like the classic vsync lag what you say about your mouse,

I dont see any VSync option...

ahh found it on the ini... I'll try to set it to false.

Edit: It does not solve the issue.. and Direct3D9 has Vsync active, without any issues..

You could try turning off MSAAx4, also vSync is in the main options area since 469d or c(where you change screen resolution), I'm not sure if it overrides the renderer setting or not might be worth a try. Would advise you not to use VSync you get pretty bad input latency, and if you play at 60hz you are handicapping yourself pretty badly.

I play at 120Hz, the thing is that in Dirext3D9 I have everything on and everything at max.. and Infor no lag at all..

Is possible ACE doesnt allow D3D11 (Vulkan renderer) and consider it like a cheat?

The one that comes with the Vulkan renderer should be fine, if you use the latest 469e patch it comes with it now. I've been using the D3d11 one for last several days on windows.

    https://github.com/OldUnreal/UnrealTournamentPatches/releases/tag/v469e-rc4

Only D3d11 that's not allowed is the one on moddb.

If you get kicked by ACE for using a different renderer that's not currently supported you won't be banned by ACE it will just not allow you to stay on the server, unless you specifically use a hacked/cheaty one.
