speed does effect you ping to some degree I think I read somewhere but if you are getting throttled they probably are causing latency. I got an A without doing anything had all kinds of shit running in the house at the time using bandwidth.

Not entirely true when I'm not lagging I get an 89 ping which is good enough since not too long ago I would have gotten that ping on a Midwest server.
You can also test your internet here: dslreports.com if it doesn't work, try opening the website using the regular http:// protocol
sshzdow as long as that 14 ping isn't jumping up and down to 30 or 40 it sounds like that wouldn't be bad BUT when that happens it will feel like playing with a 300 ping.

Verizon in my experience is by far best ISP I've used going all the way back to my Bell Atlantic Dial up and DSL. None of these QOS setting will do much if you are hitting a bad hub on the way to London.
I’m supposed to have 2.5gbps, but I can’t squeeze as much as I only have WiFi 5 network interfaces. (The router is a WiFi 6 one). But it's ok for gaming/develop.
And yeah, no QoS is needed for you man . 😂
atezris I got Grade C from the test for bufferbloat… but I prioritised my PC above all other devices via my network settings and I play UT on Ethernet. Maybe that’ll help?
jerc after they mentioned my ping, I noticed its constant 12-14, no more or less
