Verizon in my experience is by far best ISP I've used going all the way back to my Bell Atlantic Dial up and DSL. None of these QOS setting will do much if you are hitting a bad hub on the way to London.
I’m supposed to have 2.5gbps, but I can’t squeeze as much as I only have WiFi 5 network interfaces. (The router is a WiFi 6 one). But it's ok for gaming/develop.
And yeah, no QoS is needed for you man . 😂
atezris I got Grade C from the test for bufferbloat… but I prioritised my PC above all other devices via my network settings and I play UT on Ethernet. Maybe that’ll help?
sshzdow as long as that 14 ping isn't jumping up and down to 30 or 40 it sounds like that wouldn't be bad BUT when that happens it will feel like playing with a 300 ping.
jerc after they mentioned my ping, I noticed its constant 12-14, no more or less
I get C on waveform.com while I get A on dslreports.com
player_0 must be the joystick.
dslreports.com Yes, I know my speed is not so great, but the quality is excellent.
jerc I thought so too, but after unplugging it I got the opposite grades
Though it would be worse tbh.

Probably close enough that it doesn't matter.
Just curious did any of you reboot your router/modem before testing?
jerc ...and I restarted the router after each change.
Aren't buffers hardware or RAM dependent maybe you are just limited by whatever is running the routing software. Bad Bufferbloat scores just seem to common.
jerc You're right. Bad bufferbload depends on your hardware, but in my case, I would focus on the time of day, because if the equipment was to blame, I would never get an A grade.
Kind of pointless, but:
In UnrealTournament.ini, find [IpDrv.TcpNetDriver]
KeepAliveTime means "Send a packet if there hasn't been a packet to be sent in this many seconds". The packet thats sent does not contain any data.
One side effect of doing this is that it makes your ping look lower in the scoreboard, for me with >=41 ping(F6) it's displaying at ~ 15(f1)
Ooper Wouldn't it mean that if I send an empty packet, I won't be able to be killed at that moment or the other way around?
Ooper KeepAliveTime=0.0009 I have zero changes... (F1) But I know QoS really helped people in the game (fortnite) at 10...20 ping
No
In UnrealTournament.ini I found [IpDrv.TcpNetDriver] and I changed the KeepAliveTime to 0.0009 as described. It improved my regen. time after being killed, significantly. Thanks for the tip.
