The first Ā£30 computer I got from a pawn shop at their "black friday deals", I didn't even know they would be flogging off computers, I also don't think the staff really checked the computer either, pretty sure it said an I3(no mentioning of gen like they tend to do, no mentioning of a GPU even though there clearly was one if you can call a GT 710 a GPU), so when I got back and saw it was a 3rd gen I5 instead it was a nice surprise, was an even bigger surprise to find a 500GB SSD hidden behind a hard driver.
Having said that I also did buy another PC from the same shop as above for Ā£70, it had 1GB of RAM, and wouldn't even get past the bios screen if I was lucky to even get the stupid thing to boot, I took it back straight away and got my money back. They clearly didn't even test it, and lied about the RAM lol.
The second PC was also a fluke in a different pawn shop, I have a feeling it was maybe one of the computers they used before upgrading that's why it was so cheap and they just wanted to get rid of it to make way for space for more expensive stuff.
Both of the cheap computers I got are the typical HP/Dell PCS you see in the thousands, they tend to always get overlooked even though they are pretty decent with an SSD, a decent graphics, and a proper PSU(HP needed an adaptor).
