Here's a noodle scratcher for y'all.

I'm using a Macbook Pro M3 to play UT, and I have a wireless Logitech MX Keys S keyboard, which I loved at first, but now I'm beginning to hate and I'm on the search for something else.

But for some reason, and this happens all of a sudden, when I'm playing UT some of the keys can become "stuck". Meaning that all of a sudden, I'm moving backwards or forwards or left, as if I'm holding that key down, and then I have to tap it again in order to make it stop.

This doesn't seem to be happening in any other application other than UT, and I have to wonder if it's a Bluetooth issue (because BT on Macs has been notoriously terrible) or if I've just worn the WASD keys on this keyboard to a pulp.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

PS Question: If anyone has any great recommendations for a keyboard that's good for both gaming and coding, I'd love to hear it. The MX Keys S comes highly recommended and I fucking hate it. I want to get the newest version of the Apple Magic Keyboard (which costs too much money but at least has the Touch ID built in) but before I do, I'm wondering if there's something out there that people really love.

Logitech keyboards suck sorry.
It’s most likely sweat that stuck to the keys and when it dries up it’s like glue.
Remove all your keys and give it a clean up.
My recommendation is the Keychron K2 HE.
One of the best keyboards I used so far and it’s 100$ cheaper than Logitech high end junk.
It doesn’t use any software it’s web based and you get magnetic keys , rapid triggering and snap action.

I always end up back with a trusted Logitech K120 cheap and cheerful. This is at least my 3rd one after losing one while moving, breaking one by knocking a drink over one while it was on, I got this one from Lidl bundled with the mouse for £10 😆

Only gaming one I can recommend is a Razor blackwidow, mine was the 2015 version though. I do have a adx mechanical keyboard but it's not very nice to code with especially if you have cat because you barely have to press a key trigger one and even her tail resting on one can set a key off.

Isn't the M3 technically just an ARM processor??? I thought UT couldn't run on ARM no matter the OS?

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks. I decided to go big or go home, I ordered a Keychron Q6 HE Pro and it arrives tomorrow. 🙂

Wow talking about a rich man here.
That’s a great all around keyboard.
You will feel those buttery smooth clicks on those caps and the good thing everything on this keyboards can be taken apart.
Now you’re part of the elite club so stop listening to all this Logitech cheapos 😂😂

Isn't she beautiful? Already a marked improvement, but still had one sticky key issue earlier today. It's probably lag. I need a real gaming PC.

UTNL you may try usb instead of Bluetooth. I’ve had Bluetooth and 2.4ghz struggle to register lots of keys at once. Wired polls much faster and doesn’t seem to have any issues.

OS_ Yup, totally wired in. No more bluetooth. The bluetooth on Macs in particular is SO fucking terrible, I think that was part of my problem as well.
