I've handicapped myself a bit by playing in 60hz since I upgraded my GT710 to a GT1030, for some reason GT1030's use Single Link DVI instead of Dual Link DVI like a GT710 does, I could play at 144hz on the GT710 but there was stutters and pretty bad input lag at times, but the GT1030 easily does 300+fps 1080p without stuttering and I can use OpenGL without the frame rate dropping massively when I shot a shockrifle.
Funny thing I noticed last night though, even with my GT1030 overclocked it's using about 10 watts of power compared to my dead gtx970 that would be over 100watts at the same fps limit via netspeed 25000.
I can do 120hz via integrated graphics from a display port, I don't have a HDMI 2.0 cable handy to test if I can do 144hz from the GPU's
