I haven't been able to capture proof yet, but I think anyone who's been playing for a while realizes that not only does wish_me_luck stay on the server constantly as a spectator (and is a serial offender to jump into a game and then immediately spectate fucking the balancer) but I have to speak out about this player's constant behaviour of being in the game and just idling. I don't think it's enough idling for the system to kick them out automatically, but I could record hours of video of this player just standing still, particularly at the beginning of games.

I could use some help capturing some proof but it's very annoying and constantly leads to bad teams. I was under the impression that idling was illegal on the server. So I'm just posting this now, but I'm committed to capturing video evidence at the next available opportunity.

You have the campers to blame for the long idle timer, you can idle for 2-3 minutes at at a time.

He's always done this though(even the instagib days), I don't think he's all there putting it politely, don't think he's being malicious in what he does, he's still more useful than a lot of the players there most of the time when not idling.

No need for a demo. Everyone knows how he plays. Like ooper said it has been this way for years. My understanding is he has a rough home life (without going into details) and almost always gets called away whenever he joins the game. I have given him a pass because it doesn't seem to be intentional.

The idle timer is set for 120 seconds. I've played on other servers where it was much lower and sometimes it became annoying because of that. The other reasoning I remember using when setting it at 2 minutes was if you were playing a long session and really needed to use the bathroom but intended to play the next match you could leave right at the end of the current match and if you were quick you could be back in time to continue playing on the next map. It's better this way because joining the game late instead of being there for the initial balance will in most cases cause a re-balance. Intentional idlers are still dealt with regularly.

Rather have him on the server instead of people like funksl4p who just warp constantly making it look like they're speedhacking.

            Take a look on yourself for once, the way you play. Mostly spawnlaming, pref hiding in corners doing so. In fact you're the one who needs a break!

                I pick my play style based on who I'm playing against. Sure, when you're playing Egypt and EVERYONE is spawn killing, of course I'm going to do it as well. How else can you compete?

                  It always pisses me off when Caligula spams the opponent's flag on the 2on2 Crates. I'm going to take the flag, and he's spamming...🤣

                  And I wouldn’t ban him for this anyway. Although 10 years ago a temporary ban helped people learn not to do this.

                  However, don't forget we are on a public server...
