I have a little suggestion. The London server is too popular on Saturday nights but other nights like Thursday server dies off early It seems people join no one is there so they leave. Why not do it then or one of the other early die off days? I don't believe it can compete with London.

Saturday was chosen because it is pretty much the most popular day. There are many players who can't join London all day long because it is full. If we can establish Amsterdam as an alternate with 4 or so players on at peak times it won't take long for the overflow to join there also. It isn't really meant to compete with London but slowly over a long period of time it may just do so naturally since most players will prefer newnet. Just try to play at least a single map on Saturdays during peak times and it will happen in time. I will work on some promotional stuff for it at some point in the next month or so. Just in time for more players returning to the game as the weather changes.

I played there yesterday and i was surprised how much better it is for me lag wise. Ping is same but the amsterdam server it's way smoother for me and I can actually grapple quickly.

Nothing like a snow storm or fake virus to bring out the players. I was in a IG clan a 100 years ago and we used to host a 2v2 double elimination every Friday or Saturday. I used a PHP gaming ladder written by some Death Metal Euro I found on the internet because I wasn't spending 150 bucks on phpmygamingladder. We had iBR iCTF iDM players all showing up to play. Players could use the website to visualize their place on the ladder and IRC and Ventrillo to pick random teams, like a pug but not as formal and with a ladder graphic. I know there are more modern solutions software wise so I wouldn't recommend that exact set up. Maybe you get paired up with SBT and get to be champ for a week lol.

The one I was referring displayed the bracket in some image format. I think it required an Adobe .SVG or something it's been 20 years so I'm a little sketchy on the details. I'll have to visit the wayback machine when I get home. But it's nice to know there is an alternative.
