Thanks, I'll watch out for this.
SheFartsMilks hiding with the flag
I like spending time in that room.
Is it the room that would explain why you mouse is sticking too your desk
It might be one of them.

It's the room under the picture of the red pill in the large room. He does this constantly. I finally figured out where he was. Now I just blast him and recover the flag.
Ah yes the bad brothers stupidity, just remove the map, alot od people do that on that map. Stupid map anyways
I wonder what will happen to the player count if you took away the maps people like.
The mapvote being so slow loading all the maps doesn't help either, takes 10-30 seconds to load them all and by that time people have voted the same stuff. You have to vote before the match ends for a chance of something rare being voted, and then you get raged at
Should implement VoteSys Deodes new mapvote. It's really clean and loads maps instantly.
I dont think anyone wants limited maps like the old smoking server.
jerc Well tbh the problem is that most people don't bother with voting or forget about it. And then I often see one of two things will happen:
- It only takes 4 spam-happy lunatics to vote for 1-1-joust with server full people
- People vote for maps that are waaaay overplayed (duku, w00t, liandri, opel, 2-2-oval, etc...).
I guess it's what people want, most are uncomfortable with new maps or even larger I or X maps. Tbh I don't see what's the point in playing CTF on small maps with only spamming and little to no tactics involved. The real CTF experience for me are larger maps with multiple pathways in/out of base and not the ones where your average alive time is measured in tenths.
I realize my opinion is not what majority of the players want, but I'd limit the map voting based on the number of players on the server. If a map is for 2-4 players, you cannot vote for it if there's more than double that players on the server currently. Etc. But like I said, that's just me really
In my User.ini is : X=MUTATE BDBMAPVOTE VOTEMENU
The good ole "in game map vote." The only drawback is that some people have to leave and comeback in to vote during the game. It does come in handy when someone is hoarding the flag somewhere, like in this situation.
I do like smaller maps that are fairly open, and I don't have to search through a maze of hallways and rooms to shoot and play ctf.
I hate playing a map like FragWhore only for it to be followed up by a map like PicturePerfect -- both these maps are functionally the same. At least duku has an interesting layout/design.
in my opinion, a map that shapes our spatial imagination, that enhances human perception and playing on it contributes to the activation of the cognitive process by the human organism, which is associated with mastering the feedback loop, is simply a masterpiece map and is called small mountain
LOL spatial and small mountain in the same sentence. I do like the map though.
