Unreal download

Hello everyone,

after a big breake from unreal I decided to play again on the London server. But I have a problem with downloading the game. I can't find the actual version of the game in the internet. Did someone know where I can download safe Unreal tournament?

Recently, the game has become unavailable to buy digitally but we still shouldn't post links to copyright infringing content.

I still recommend finding and buying a used game disc which may now be the only truly legal way to acquire the game.

Is this really happening? I don't have the original CD of this game. A dozen or so years ago, I copied to a new disc, because the original one was barely readable by my drive. Does this mean I have an illegal version of this game? Because if there was a legality check, how am I supposed to prove it to them?

I'm not a legal expert but you should be fine using your own backup of your legally purchased game. I don't think anyone needs to worry about a legality check of any kind ever. Epic has just decided to stop selling the game.

Not allowing links to downloads is more about not bringing legal trouble for this website than it is a concern for the end user.

Personally, I just prefer to have the original discs.

You can still purchase the Unreal Pack on Steam I know not ideal, but it comes with like 4 versions I think.

Hmm makes me wonder how this will turn out as well. Will steam drop the ball as well?

You can't buy any UT or Unreal anymore, Epic took them all down, I got Unreal and UT GOTY on GOG for ~ £2.30 right before the cut off time, the only way to legally buy them now is second hand physical copies, but if piracy is the only option to play those games now, epic are the ones to blame for making it impossible to buy them.

I have UT GOTY 2 Disc, UT 2003, UT 2004, UT 3, and Unreal 2 on physical copies. I ironically found UT2004 in a second hand shop after finishing developing a discord bot for UT2K4 servers, I never played the game which made it a bit more tricky, then saw a copy for £0.50 and UT3 for £0.75 a few weeks later after finishing the discord bot.

Wow you are correct sorry. I just looked on Steam and no search results. I purchased a huge pack awhile back. So does this mean I am safe? I lost my discs years ago.

UnrealKillers provides/provided a link with the UT's DEMO, which I think is legal to download (???)

Then just have to install the patches.

Thing is once you have a UT99 you never need to install it again just copy the unreal tournament folder to somewhere safe. You literally can copy that folder to a usb drive and play on any computer personally i just copy the folder to C and put a shortcut to the exe on my desktop. Updating a demo seems so janky just go see the pirates at the bay and ask the for the unreal tournament GOTY and a bottle of rum. Oh and Epic eat a dick you greedy fucks.

I forgot to mention I've burned my GOTY disc to isos, it's a useful thing to do nowadays because how often do we use DVD drives nowadays? Like Jerc said you can just copy and paste the whole folder without problems pc to pc, the only reason you would want to install it properly is so that all the ut file types are set up in windows, and you can install UMOD files without needing 3rd party stuff.
