Seeing a speaking about democracy, (dedicated mainly to the_cowboy, because he seem to be a somehow smart guy who knows much about social aspects, but everyone can read if interested. ) 🙂
In the past, people used to believe asstronomers and scientists that it's Sun which revolves / orbits / circles around Earth and called anyone who said otherwise an "idiot". Then XXX years later other asstronomers and scientists proved that the previous asstronomers and scientists were wrong in it's calculations and actually it is Earth which revolves around the Sun, which means that there were several hundred million "idiots" living in the world calling other people idiots, just because the other people didn't believe in what majority believed (that Sun resloves around Earth).
And it's just one case of many cases where scientists were wrong.
Another funny example is a group of people which thinks Earth is flat....
But in this case, unlike the previous example, I don't think anybody will prove in future Earth is flat...
It's funny but there also are cases where:
- a group A of scientists "proved" some food X is harmful,
- then after 10 years another group B of scientists proved it's not harmful,
- and then after another 10 years another group C of scientists proved again the some food is harmful
- and then after another 10 years another group D of scientists proved the opposite again
Now, if anybody still always believe scientists in everything, then he must be an idiot.
But also funny is that if you believe in nothing, you are still an idiot, because some things scientists say, are truth.
The problem is which things scientits say, are truth, and which are not, we don't know, but even scientists themselves, don't know always either.
And another example, similiar to Sun and Earth example : most people (8 billions) don't believe UFO., and will call everybody who says aliens exist an idiot, lets say after XXX years it turns out the aliens do exist, which means there were 8 billions "idiots" living on Earth (or more, because new people born since then).
You have several choices: to believe in:
- what YOU think is a truth,
- what SOMEONE ELSE thinks is a truth
- what MAJORITY thinks is a truth
- what MINORITY thinks is a truth
- what SCIENTIFISTS thinks is a truth
A funny thing is, regardless of what the option above you choose, you still are an idiot, why? Because:
- sometimes what YOU say is which s a truth,
- sometimes what SOMEONE ELSE says is which s a truth,
- other time what MAJORITY say is which is a truth,
- other time what MINORITY say is which is a truth,
- and another time what SCIENTIFISTS say is which is a truth.
And you never know who says the truth.
Only idiots believe in everything, why? Because not everything is a truth.
Funny is that those who don't believe in anything are idiots too, why?
Because something has to be true, can't be everything not a truth.
I hope after reading it, your brain hasn't collapsed.
