What is the problem ? just ban him if he intentionally or not intentionally brings lags to the server. Let him fix his internet...
Although I have big doubts that he is the cause of the lags.

What do you guys think, who will ddos the server and play on it at the same time? 😉

I am also experiencing this type of delay. something is up. Has anything been updated on the server recently? there are lags but my ping is good and without pl. It looks like some permanent server overload. Before we accuse anyone, let's look at this from another angle. I'm not an expert, but maybe some recent heat over Europe is causing it. This occurred to me because there are no such lags at night. At least I didn't feel it.

Nothing has been updated on the server for a very long time and the server is running well within its limits, not overloaded at all.

Anyone experiencing lag (other than when everyone on the scoreboard shows packet loss) is urged to run the free version of ping plotter or at least WinMTR to see where the problem actually is rather than assuming the cause is the server.

Internet traffic gets better at end of business day.

Tried several times, run those tools each time I play, but It might be not easy to catch the lags using those tools, because:

      • Ping (tools) and UDP (game) are different protocols
      • the tools do ping with 1 per sec, compared to 60 tickrate per sec of the game server & client
(PingPlotter offers 0,5 sec interval and WinMTR offers 0,1 sec, but when I set the ping below 1 sec, some problems arise, also PingPlotter offers UDP but only in Pro version, and my Trial already expired)

It may take a few days, because in such situation it seems can only catch big lags in game which occur less often, and not regular lags which occur more often (but are sufficient to ruin game, yet too small to be catched with those tools).

What are you whining about anyway? Pingplotter itself monitors the network. You don't have to play UT while the program is running. Just play solitaire and stop typing like a robot. If you learned this style of speaking in school, then know that you don't have to take everything so personally.
Do you think that those who have studied poetry
really do sound like rhyming geometry?
So, whatever style you talk to us now,
everybody knows Gonzalez is a vulgar clown.

Fuck off, troll, I'm not "whining", only talking politely here and trying to help, the only idiot who is "whining" and "taking everything so personally" here currently is you, it's you who should "go play solitaire", go troll elsewhere "vulgar clown".

You don't have to, but you can, which helps to corelate moments while lags occur and determine whether they are the same lags which occur in game and not some other lags, not to mention I was also speaking about other things which you seem to don't understand. Your poems match your genius.

Still lags: yesterday and 2 days ago, one player confirmed it too yesterday on the game chat.

Also apart from screen jumping, I also noticed a few times, other ways the lags manifest: funny situations where my own shock rifle ball (secondary fire), after a while has stopped in the air for 1-3 seconds, levitating like UFO above ground, and then has continued to fly, like nothing has happened, like in a Sci-Fi movie, wow.

        • today laggy too, another player said same on the chat
        • in one of matches I noticed lags, then I pressed F6, and it showed 12% packet loss for a while
(but most likely it's a different match than from the screenshots)
        • I've made 3 measures in PingPlotter in 3 different matches,
not sure whether it has catched anything responsible for lags :
          SCREENSHOOT 1 + SCREENSHOOT 2 + SCREENSHOOT 3
        • I also noticed today I hit my enemy by primary weapon (laser) and he didn't die, it was 100% hit, but as it was already happening occasionally in the past too, before the current issue with lags, I guess it could be a different issue: ZeroPing not registering hits sometimes (I saw that someone was speaking about it somewhere on the forum, but I'm unable to find the comment)

          Good evening everyone,

good that I found this thread, I thought I would be the only one who perceives these enormous lags. I can only agree with the statements of all previous players. At the moment, the average packet loss is between 18 and 28%. You can play better with a ping of 200 so also only one percent packet loss :>. Would be nice if the admin once could look at the whole. Thnx

That might be caused by some gib-piece getting in a way of a shot (ye, happens with both projectile and hitscan shots), not really an issue of mutators or lags - just a feature.

No, you go troll somewhere else, idiot/ troll: LINK, you are interfering / disrupting, by your stupid advices, go pollute other thread.

Are you admin here ?NO? then shut the fuck off okAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!

          Worthless piece of shit..

            ESUOH

Neither you are an admin here...you've gotten so much triggered and angry, better take off your drugs (unless you are just pretending / sarcasm / provoking).

            ESUOH

Rather people like you, because it's not me who is trolling here.
            But why, what's your problem. : )

If they're trolling,.. hmm I wonder why?
Better write why you were banned in the previous forum.

Thanks for showing the ping plotter results. Although there may be jitter problems causing your unstable ping in other hops on your route to the host, you should first try and address the variance in the ping that is shown on your first hop (your router or modem). This could be the main source of the problem or start to the pattern.

It seems your router or modem is capable of giving you 3 to 5ms ping times which isn't great but isn't unreasonable. It shouldn't, however, be giving you maximums of 25 to 30ms pings. By chance is your connection to your router over wifi? If it is wifi, you will want to do your best to wire in directly at the very least for a test.

The problem with wifi connections happens when other devices are also using the wifi connection, each transmitter has to listen before transmitting and if it detects another device using the wifi it delays for a random number of milliseconds before trying again to avoid interference. These random delays are not good at all for latency sensitive applications like gaming. If it is not wifi try a different cable and/or search the internet for jitter problems with that specific device model number.

As an example for you this computer I'm on right now has a wired connection through 2 local routers before getting a connection to the modem. The ping times to both routers are less than 1ms and don't show much variance.
