Heya I am playing for a couple of days and most people are nice, some of them play... questionable but whatever. They are atleast not griefing. This guy though... Pizzaiolo Pazzo has been trying to grief me while playing on the map BrokenLimits. I boosted him once since he was in the way on the sniper perch from rolling out, after that he kept boosting me in the face even if I had the flag or trying to roll out from our own base, he even tried to chase me to keep boosting me. He keeps playing lame the matches after that as well.

Hey Meira, thanks for joining us on the forum and glad to have you on the game server. I don't try to force people to play a certain way even though there is a lot of laming that can get annoying. I do, however, have a rule "no team sabotage" which I do enforce. Since you instigated the exchange this time (even though we both know it was necessary) I will let it slide. If pazzo continues to sabotage his own team then I will do something about it. Please do not try to get him to act out by shooting your own teammate on purpose though. I will check on him more often soon but if it continues and you want to get action taken sooner just get a demo otherwise it will have to wait until I demo it. The first thing most players say once banned is they are innocent so it is best to have the proof when that happens. Anyway, hopefully it was just a one time thing and he won't continue.
snowguy Thank you for the response, maybe I am too used to the old "no backshoot" server and still need to adapt to the server environment. I will not shoot any of my teammates on purpose unless I am boosting them from a jump pad or whatnot. I can't promise that I won't shoot on reaction to someone crouching in a corner or sniper perch though 
Meira Do not be afraid. After all, it happens to everyone by accident that they hit a player from their own team. It happens very often and to everyone. Some even want to be boosted because they like a team game where you can sometimes capture the flag in an unusual way. Have fun.
As for the Italian guy, you're right. He sabotaged more than just you. He also bullied other players.
And one more thing. The video posted on the forum by Mr Nicefu in the topic entitled "coincidence or ?".
Most likely it's the same guy.

Completely understand, things are definitely a bit more lax on the combogib server. There are also lots of more inexperienced players that seem to play combogib. It takes them some time to gain enough experience to realize that backshooting is a silly thing to do if you are actually trying to go and grab the enemy's flag. I just try to let their game grow naturally and not be constantly kicking and banning players unless it really becomes a problem. The servers are just for fun type play so hopefully you can adapt to it and enjoy it for what it is. Still, let me know if the sabotage continues though.
Pizza is a good shot I always have a hard time with him.
Back shooting, I find myself doing it sometimes more than often on Opel while driving to the flag on the rounded halls. I guess my first thought is oh no you're not going to get our lag lol. I kind of feel like it's a running defense. Years ago, I was a runner all the way. How ever since I have returned from the depths of who knows where, I find myself running D more than anything. I guess it would be because of all the awesome players in the London server.
I love playing there I just wish I could ping better. It seems sometimes my shot is on fire, and I can throw a ton of shots in a row and rack up some frags. But most of the time I can be 2 feet from a player and cannot hit at all. It seems as though my gun simply wont line up or even load the next beam fast enough.
If you ask me on a totally open map there is no such thing as a backshot
I'm guessing that at this stage of UT99 we need to be thankful for having players at all, even if they are camping, backshooting and lame.
By now 50% of the playerbase is playing like that

The admin there run a scan on him and something came back fishy, He"s always playing on your server snowguy either with nicknames lolz or !.

There's 2 one is pizzaialo pazzo from italy and pizzailo mazzo from brasil. I guess you're talking about the italian one.
He's just an idiot and completely useless in CTF. That's the guy that after every game says " too EZ " just like Caliz.
Btw Caliz after the spanking I gave him wanted to connect with me on Discord and talk and what a weirdo lol . I actually feel sorry for him now. I'm not going into detail about him BUT trust me just let him be.
I wouldn't worry about this guys at least they don't cheat. I'm more worried about players like lolz , trade , americafckyea and few others.

I don't understand this thing about backshooting? If we're playing on Opel and I'm defending the base then move down the hallway to cover the flag carrier and you go by me ....why would I let you go by me lol? So you can go grab the flag?

I'm way more concerned about players cheating and getting away with it then useless players like pizzaiolo.
Seriously the guy is completely useless and easy to deal with. Like annoying last time hiding in the lamps on the mini dock map. He did it several times and I made sure he stopped doing it.

Just put the .dem file in a folder then zip it and upload the .zip file. Or .rar .7z etc. your choice. Or maybe you just didn't see the little upload icon while typing your post.

It's a rule for servers where everyone is supposed to go and grab, no dedicated defenders, only defend while leaving the base to go grab. It makes sense in that scenario because if you shot someone you just passed while going to the enemy base to grab you would just have to kill them again to try and get the flag out of their base.
If all players were highly skilled shooters and teams are even in insta type games, it makes a lot of the games a match of just shooting each other with no real progress being made toward flag captures. These rules are meant to help bring an end to those stalemate type matches. The exception on those servers to that rule is you are allowed to backshoot when the flags are not at home and this makes it tough for newcomers and those not super aware of the current flag status to operate effectively.
If you are a grabber you might consider this anyway -- if you kill them on the way in you also have to kill them on the way out.

Also, players like Pizzaiolo don't understand that sometimes it's better to wait out the fragging (if you're a camper) because if he kills everyone as it goes, they respawn in their base. It's obvious that it's hard to get the flag out of the enemy base where all the opponents are.

If you even look at me I will shoot your ass in the back I don't care where you played before. Seriously I don't care most of the time if Annoying, Kottler or Caligula try to spawn rape me or shoot me in the back its part of the game. If you want to play under sterile perfectly fair conditions go play with the IG Retards. I don't know why but these guy rub me the wrong way I strongly dislike Pure IG players well if you can call them that just aiming machines really.

Sure there are some "Purists" from old days were they think we still live in the "Old Days" and they loved to have their 20-30 ping "owning" the 100- 200 pingers when there was not even ZP or Newnet... ahhh those were the days right?
But apart from that, play as you wish and give Zero Fucks about the old farts complaining at Clouds
Make London 2 a combo pug where there can be be serious games and they can get shot in the back on London 1 while they wait.
Should make london 2 pure insta server. No more secondary shock =)
